Job Description

A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located on the SW corner of Houston is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support their Sales Team. This position is Direct Hire and open due to growth and has a GREAT career path for future growth.

100% Onsite - Hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Pay is between $52-$62k on an annual basis depending on experience

Think of this as a Sr Admin position. While a background in sales would be helpful, this is a supporting role that will be supporting their sales teams with administrative tasks!

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Schedule meetings, record minutes, and maintain calendars accordingly.
  • Screen telephone calls; take messages; coordinate conference calls
  • Coordinate travel, hotel accommodations and meetings.
  • Data entry into their tracking system to ensure information is correct and up to date.
  • Enter bids and proposals into the system.
  • Set up and maintain various office files, logs, listings and manuals.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related administrative experience supporting multiple teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative and word processing skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge and ability to complete word processing tasks (correspondence, reports, memos, proposal, charts, agreements, Power Point presentations).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of staff members.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage the completion of projects in an efficient and timely manner with some supervision.
